CARL LE TISSIER has labelled it as a 'disgrace' and an 'embarrassment' that none of his Vale Rec outfield players have been selected in the island's Inter-League Cup squad.

Guernsey's Priaulx League team, coached by Ian Champion, travel to Jersey in nine days' time for a first round tie in the competition the Sarnians won back in 2010.

Back then, it was under the guise of the FA National League System Cup and it was Guernsey's full-strength squad that could be picked.

Now, it is chosen solely from non-Guernsey FC players and Champion picked a large training squad ahead of the match, with the only Rec player being goalkeeper Jody Bisson.
