Thunder snatch last-gasp draw

'REZZERS' should be under no illusions that holding onto the Division One league trophy may well be harder than winning it, historically, for the first time in April.

They were fortunate to get a draw out of their first clash with Nerine Thunder A and the bad news for the champions is that Thunder 'firsts' are likely to get stronger.

There was never more than a couple of goals in it throughout.

At the end of the third there was just one in it and Rezzers reverted to their initial formation, albeit with Juliet Bousfield on for Emma Brookes.

The lead changed several times and with four minutes left it was level at 33-33.

Then Rezzers inched two ahead and they were still up one with just 60sec. left on the clock.

Moments after missing one opportunity Thunder secured possession one last time and having fed their veteran shooter, she deservedly popped in the shot which squared the matters with just a couple of seconds on the clock.
