South Africa could visit in 2014

GILL QUERIPEL is targeting larger Guernsey representation when England travel to South Africa again in May 2014 for the Indoor Nets World Series.

'By then, we hope we will have more consistent play and pull off some wins,' she said.

The age groups will be 21-and-under, women's open, men's open and mixed open.

'Hopefully, we will have more Guernsey players going up for selection, although for us it is around the time that the girls have their A-levels.'

The Guernsey coach added that in October 2014, South Africa are bringing two teams to the UK to play and the hope is that the Springboks will come to the ICG Centre.

'We have yet to have their visit confirmed, but we are hopeful.'
