THE Ravenscroft Guernsey teams return to British National League action this weekend for the second round of fixtures of the season.

Ravenscroft One are much changed from the opening round in September and there is a welcome return to the team for Alice Loveridge, who will make her season debut for the local side.

With CI No. 1 Garry Dodd missing and Phil Ogier and Olly Langlois also absent through injury, her return to play at the number one spot is a boost to the squad who compete in Division One North.

The remainder of the team has a youthful look to it as it firstly includes the constantly improving 17-year-old twins Lawrence and Joshua Stacey.

Both have experience of competing at this high standard of second-tier British League action, which they did last season in Division One South.

The final spot sees a Senior British League debutant as Joshua Butler will step up to the plate to compete at the number four position.

Butler has had experience competing at the Junior British League and other Junior Internationals over the years, but this will be his first taste of action at this level.
