GUERNSEY ran in eight tries in a thumping home win on Saturday to move up to eighth in National Three London & South-East.

The home side were 25-5 to the good by half-time at Footes Lane with Tom Ceillam having touched down twice and Matt Thomas also going over, while Sam Whitehead added 10 points from his boot. Huw Bevan scored Barnes' try.

After the break, Barnes suffered badly with injuries and ended the game with only 12 men on the park.

Guernsey made the most of the extra space with Layton Batiste, Ben McDougall, James Regnard, Jason Batiste and Luke Sayer all getting on the scoresheet as the green-and-whites recorded their third successive victory.
