ANGUS MACKAY returns to the GFC squad for the Boxing Day clash at Redhill, but there are already severe doubts whether the Surrey club's ground will be fit for use.
Mackay won't be the only returnee either, with James Hamon set to take over in goal with the encouragement of Exeter City, the League Two club he has been training with for the past few months.
'Exeter wanted him to play in a serious game in the pyramid and this is the ideal opportunity,' said coach Tony Vance.
Despite a host of injuries and family commitments ruling out a few others, Vance has still been able to name a squad of 14, albeit stuffed with single youngsters such as Tom Martin, Nick Trebert, Danny Hale, Paris Pereira and Etienne Le Prevost, the North midfielder.
Jacques Isabelle is also included, although still an injury doubt.
'In terms of average age this is probably our youngest group yet,' added the coach, his options restricted by the suspension of Kieran Mahon and an injury picked up by Dave Rihoy in the 4-2 win over Herne Bay on Saturday.
Vance was delighted with the performance at home against an in-form and dangerous outfit.
'They were a strong outfit and we had to be strong ourselves. We managed to play some good football as well.'
Full squad: James Hamon, Jacques Isabelle, Angus Mackay, Jamie Dodd, Nick Trebert, Tom Martin, Etienne Le Prevost, Dom Heaume, Matt Loaring, Nigel Hutton, Ross Allen, Marc McGrath, Paria Pereira and Danny Hale.
