Bels extend their lead at the top

BELS moved five points clear at the top of the FNB Priaulx League on Saturday and still have three games in hand on nearest rivals North.

The champions overcame Vale Rec 4-0 at the Track thanks to goals from Craig Young, Ant Austen, Joby Bourgaize and Ollie Smith to maintain their unbeaten run in the league this season.

In Friday evening's match, St Martin's defeated Sylvans 6-1 at Blanche Pierre Lane with Callum Wallace scoring twice and the other Saints goals coming from Danny Marquand, Sam Hall, Sam McKenzie and Craig Mollet. The Sylvans consolation came from Sam Murray on his debut after moving from North.

The other Priaulx League match of the weekend finished goalless between Rangers and Rovers.
