For in keeping with recent tradition, the presentation of the match shirts to the chosen squad was a grand occasion this week as captain Blair Campbell and his men received their jerseys from His Excellency the Lt-Governor, Air Marshal Peter Walker, during a special reception on Tuesday to celebrate the Guernsey Rugby Club's 100th anniversary.

The starting XV contains four players – Matt Thomas, Matt Ball, Ben McDougall and Sam Whitehead – who have yet to taste Siam Cup action.

The Siam Cup match kicks off at 3pm, preceded by the Vets at 10.30am and the Seconds at 12.30pm on the Garenne Stand pitch. The Women's match will be at 11am on the neighbouring club pitch.
