The declarations for the 2014 Guernsey Race Club bank holiday meeting were announced yesterday with 32 runners guaranteed.
'We are really excited about it. This is what we have worked for for a long time – to have an average of six or more horses per race,' said GRC committee member Bob Le Bargy.
'As a committee, we have worked really hard in doing more marketing for our races, we have done a lot of networking, and it has paid dividends.
'We are over the moon to have 32 declared runners.'
