While the other three senior matches were all going Jersey's way, Chris Griffiths' side secured an impressive 27-10 success on the old club pitch.

Tries from Rachel Merrien, Heidi Mahy, Fiona Ashworth and Daisy Travers secured the victory, which is Guernsey's third straight success in the fixture.

'They worked through their phases well and, although all four of the tries were scored from close in, they were all at the end of well-worked team efforts.

'Indeed, there isn't one individual that I would single out this time because all of the girls across the team produced strong performances.
