La Grande Mare overcome Royal Guernsey in Hampshire Sevens
DEBUTANT Wayne Harwood clinched the decisive point as La Grande Mare claimed an impressive 4-3 victory over Royal Guernsey at L'Ancresse on Saturday.

Harwood trailed early on to island junior champion Jeremy Nicolle, but hit back to win his rubber 3 and 1, much to the delight of his teammates.
Nick Falla, Adie Coquelin and Wasif Anees were the other winners for La Grande Mare on the day while the Royal Guernsey points came from Jim Gilligan, Emile Thompson and Bobby Eggo.
