Champions start their title defence with a win
THE Le Tissier brothers took centre stage as defending champions LML St Pierre got their Krys Global Evening League Premier campaign off to the perfect start last night.

Shorn of several important names – among them captain Tom Kimber and big-hitting GH Smit – a Clubhouse Optimists target of 139 from 16 overs looked like it would be challenging for St Pierre.
However, brisk half-centuries from both stand-in skipper Glenn and younger sibling Luke ensured that there would be no slip-up on night one of their title defence as St Pierre won by nine wickets.
