Ponte through to knockout stages of Hants Championship
DEFENDING champion Aimee Ponte has qualified for the knockout stages of the Hampshire Ladies' Championship as the top seed.

Both the Sarnian and Sarah Bradshaw finished the 36-hole qualifier at Stoneham with an aggregate of 144, but Ponte takes top spot in the KO draw on countback after she followed her morning round of 73 by carding 71 in the afternoon.
Ponte now faces Jane Bennett in the last-16 round of the knockout this morning.
Meanwhile, all eight seeds are through to tonight's Intertrust Island Men's Championship quarter-finals at L'Ancresse.
The matches are: Jack Mitchell v. Daniel Griggs, Danny Bisson v. Matt de la Mare, Jamie Blondel v. Danny Blondel and Bobby Eggo v. Jeremy Nicolle.
