Kirk and Savident see Rovers to victory
AN UNBEATEN third-wicket stand of 121 between Tom Kirk and Lee Savident guided Odey Rovers to victory against a much-improved Clubhouse Optimists last night at a damp KGV.

However, Optis were made to pay for a couple of dropped chances as Savident compiled an expertly-judged 63, one more than Kirk who played the anchor role, as Rovers won with seven balls to spare.
Earlier, an impressive second-wicket stand of 143 between Adam Le Page (69 not out) and Mark Jefferies (74) had formed the basis of Optimists' 20-over total of 170.
