Jeremy Frith's 2mi Wanderers gave the league leaders a mighty fright in a game to match the glorious Port Soif sunshine, before Cobo sneaked home by three runs in a last-ball thriller.

Cobo captain Jamie Nussbaumer (41 not out) had been the main contributor to his side's 140 for 8 from their 20 overs.

In reply, all of the Wanderers top four scored in the 20s before the chase eventually got down to 11 needed from the final over.

It was bowled by young Will Stephenson, who conceded six runs from the first three balls, but he held his nerve to finish with a dot followed by the wicket of Pierre Moody and then just a single off the final ball.
