Blondel leads the way on two fronts
DANNY BLONDEL has Bobby Eggo breathing down his neck, but the 2010 island champion is showing no signs of cracking at the halfway point of the island's prestigious 72-hole strokeplay event at L'Ancresse.

Blondel leads both the handicap and scratch categories for the UV and Laserwash trophies respectively, although in the case of the scratch event his lead is just one shot from Eggo.
Both men shot three-under gross 67s yesterday, as they made the most of the afternoon conditions.
