Blondel clear with one round to go
DANNY BLONDEL has a healthy lead in both the Laserwash and UV trophies heading into today's final round of the island's only 72-hole competition at L'Ancresse.

The former Channel Islands champion shot the best round of the day yesterday with a 69 gross, the highlight of which was an eagle three at the sixth.
He is now four shots clear of Bobby Eggo, who shot a 72 yesterday, in the hunt for the Laserwash Trophy played off scratch.
Blondel's lead in the UV Trophy (off handicap) is seven shots, with his closest challenger being Michel Davy, who matched the leader's net 68 on day three.
The highlight of the third round, though, was Alun Jenkins' hole in one at the seventh.
