Watson wins Wimbledon opener
HEATHER WATSON has beaten Ajla Tomljanovic in the first round at Wimbledon.

The British No. 1 from Guernsey maintained her recent good form to win 6-3, 6-2 in 1hr 5min. on Court Three against the Croatian No. 1.
Watson will face either ninth seed Angelique Kerber, who reached the semi-finals of Wimbledon two years ago, or Urszula Radwanska in the second round on Thursday.
