Records set to fall at British Hillclimb Championship

DARREN WARWICK leads the Guernsey charge across the water tomorrow as Bouley Bay again kicks off a bumper couple of days for Channel Islands motorsport.

The British Hillclimb Championship continues its two-venue, four-round journey of the islands on Saturday in St Peter Port, but they will tackle the Jersey hill first.

After last year saw the all-time record fall at both hills, hopes will be high of repeats this year, especially considering the form of some of the UK's biggest names.

Jos Goodyear will look to become the first man to ever go 'sub-27' on Saturday, but in Jersey, he will face stiff competition from Wallace Menzies and Trevor Willis.
