WANDERERS all but guaranteed their place in Krys Global Evening League Division One for next season by inflicting a first defeat of the season on the champions last night.

Victory took Jeremy Frith's side onto eight points where they join Griffins, Rovers and St Pierre while Optimists are now four points adrift at the bottom of the table.
Cobo's previously perfect winning record was ended emphatically on an evening where Ollie Newey hit an unbeaten 42 but no one else reached double figures, as Jonny Orme picked up three top-order wickets for Wanderers.
