Watson exits Baku Cup in first round
HEATHER WATSON's comeback from a mini-hiatus ended in defeat yesterday as she was knocked out of the Baku Cup at the first round stage in Azerbaijan.

The 22-year-old, ranked 57th in the world and currently the British No. 1, took on Kristina Mladenovic in her first match since losing in the second round of Wimbledon last month.
But despite French player Mladenovic being ranked 24 places lower in the world, Watson could not make a winning return and was beaten 6-2, 3-6, 6-0.
