Benefit of Pirates' visit will be 'priceless' for GRFC
GUERNSEY'S push for promotion from National Three London & South-East will get a huge boost from their week with the Cornish Pirates, according to Jordan Reynolds.
While the highlight will be their pre-season friendly with the Greene King IPA Championship club on Saturday evening at Footes Lane, the Guernsey first-team squad will also be training alongside the Pirates during their five-night stay.
The local side's head coach admitted that the buzz of anticipation has been palpable in his players in the build-up.
'The experience our guys will get out of this week is something you could not put a price on,' Reynolds said.
'Just being able to lean on them, engage with them and get ideas off them is going to be of massive benefit to us,' he added.
Guernsey v. Cornish Pirates is at Footes Lane on Saturday, 6.30pm kick off.
