Priaulx aims to get back in title hunt in Virginia
THE races in the Tudor United SportsCar Championship are coming thick and fast with Andy Priaulx and BMW Team RLL preparing for round nine of 11 this weekend.
For this one, at the Virginia International Raceway, the Guernsey driver has yet another learning experience ahead of him in the team's BMW Z4 GTLM he shares with Bill Auberlen.
After a couple of disappointing races Priaulx and Auberlen, who race the black No. 55 car, are joint fourth in the GTLM driver rankings on 221 points.
'I enjoy going to new tracks, so I am looking forward to VIR which will be yet another learning experience,' he said.
Practice begins tomorrow with qualifying on Saturday ahead of Sunday's 2hr 45min. race known as the Oak Tree Grand Prix.
