MITON Optimal completed a Swoffers Weekend double in emphatic style at KGV and they did it with a man-of-the-match performance from 14-year-old Nairn Guilbert.
Forty-eight hours earlier Miton were scrambling around for a side for what is supposed to be the showpiece end to the domestic season.
But permitted to draft in guests, they pulled in two quality fill-ins in Jason Martin and Tom Kirk from Wanderers and ORs respectively, plus a handful of fiercely ambitious mid-teens, and they watched on as over-cocky Cobo committed cricketing suicide and were dismissed for 134 in the 37th over.
The Tigers were close to strength but produced a shocking all-round performance against a unit that comprised two 14-year-olds and another two just a year older.
