Three debuts and a return for star scrum-half Barnes
THREE newcomers will make their Guernsey debuts when Westcombe Park host the green-and-whites tomorrow.
Flanker Greg Smith is already known to many GRFC fans having played in the pre-season friendly against the Cornish Pirates, whereas other new signings Glen Walters and Simi Sawene are more recent arrivals.
However, captain Blair Campbell reported that the fresh faces are not short on talent.
'We have already seen a few nice touches from them in training, but until that first competitive game comes around, you don't know how they are going to react to match situations and ideally we need them to get used to us and the way we play pretty quickly,' he said.
Star scrum-half Malcolm Barnes will also return now that he is fully recovered from breaking a bone in his neck in December.
