With less than 10 minutes remaining of this big clash at St Peter's, the hosts were 4-0 up and seemingly cruising to a notable scalp of the leaders and title favourites.

If that scoreline was remarkable, it was nothing to what it was just six minutes later, as, with 87min. on the clock, North skipper Le Cheminant grabbed his second to make it 4-3.

When he then slammed home a knock-down deep, deep into added time, the centre-back thought he had a hat-trick that would have grabbed his side a point.

But linesman Nigel Mills had his flag up for offside and despite North being adamant there was a Sylvans man on the post playing Le Cheminant onside, the goal was chalked off and seconds later the final whistle blew.

In Saturday's Priaulx League games, Rovers came back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Vale Rec at Port Soif while Rangers drew 1-1 with St Martin's at the College Field.
