Priaulx to race in European Le Mans Series
A NEW challenge awaits Andy Priaulx in 2015.
The triple world champion will head up a trio of drivers who will race a BMW Z4 GTE in the European Le Mans Series that runs between April and October.
This is a new programme for BMW, so it is ideal for the Guernsey driver, who has so much expertise in both sports car and touring car racing, to be included.
The team running the programme will be BMW Sports Trophy Team Marc VDS, but BMW has yet to announce who Priaulx's teammates will be.
'I always embrace a new challenge and am proud to be heading up BMW's works team in this exciting series,' Priaulx said.
'Although I know all of the circuits on the calendar, it will not make things any easier as I know there is some fierce competition out there.
'However, I am confident that the BMW Z4 GTE is more than up to the challenge.'
