ROSS ALLEN was back among the goals as Guernsey FC boosted their Ryman South play-off hopes with another home victory.

Carshalton Athletic were the latest side to be brushed aside at Footes Lane, this time 2-0, as Allen's opener – his first goal in five months – was followed up by a rare Jamie Dodd strike.
It got even better for the Green Lions later on in the day as play-off rivals Whyteleafe and Worthing both dropped points.
Whyteleafe were leading 2-1 at Hastings United until a late equaliser, meaning that although they still occupy fifth spot, ninth-placed GFC are just eight points behind and have a game in hand.
