GRFC look to move further clear from bottom

FELLOW relegation battlers Tring have provided Guernsey with proof that they can cause a major upset at London Irish Wild Geese tomorrow [Saturday].

On paper, with their hosts second in National Three London & South-East and 10 places above them, Jordan Reynolds' men go into this encounter as the underdogs.

However, one of Irish's two home defeats this season came only a fortnight ago at the hands of Tring, who sit below Guernsey in the table, and it was a comprehensive 26-8 result.

'You don't know what goes on over there from week to week – Irish might have had some injuries, they might have had a bad day at the office or Tring just might have played an outstanding game – I am only looking at our performance,' said GRFC director of rugby Reynolds.
