St Jacques aiming for perfection
AFTER claiming the Hampshire Solent Merit league title two weeks ago, St Jacques return to action this afternoon [Saturday] at the KGV, 1.30pm kick off.
Tottonians 2nds are the visitors and although they can no longer win the league title, they will be looking to cause an upset and condemn St Jacques to their first league defeat this season.
Tottonians have been one of the form teams in the Solent League this season, and sit second in the table.
The reverse fixture in December was a very close-run affair, with the black-and-yellows eventually winning 10-3 on a boggy pitch.
'It's not easy to maintain the same intensity levels after being crowned champions, however if we want to remain unbeaten we are going to have to do so,' said St Jacques head coach Jon Bell.
