The CI will be looking to repeat their victory of three years ago when they last won the trophy, with Hampshire since registering back-to-back victories on home soil and then at Grouville last year.

The hosts have some of their big guns out with reigning CI champion and Hampshire county regular Gavin O'Neill one of the four Jersey players in the eight-strong team.

In fact, the Caesarean quartet are the four that will represent their island in the Jersey 2015 NatWest Island Games this summer with Matthew Parkman, Sam Crenan and Jeremy Philips also included.

The Guernsey contingent are led by current island champion Jamie Blondel, who is joined by L'Ancresse club-mates Danny Bisson, Danny Blondel and Steve Mahy.

The format of the match is four foursomes matches tomorrow afternoon, starting at 1pm, followed by eight singles rubbers on Sunday morning, teeing off at 8.30am.
