Greens will test different tactics
NIC POTHAS believes that Guernsey are now mentally strong enough to withstand the challenge at the ICC European Division One T20 Championship.
With the Twenty20 tournament in Jersey now just eight days away, Pothas takes his side to Sussex this weekend for three final preparation matches.
They will face the Sussex Academy twice on Sunday at the county ground in Hove, before facing a composite XI from the Sussex Premier League Division Two at Blackstone on Monday.
All 14 players named in the squad who begin their European campaign on Liberation Day make the trip, with Pothas explaining the merits of these warm-up games.
'What we will be looking at is different tactics within a match environment and how our approach can change given the game situation.'
