Having been put into bat, the Sarnians posted 121 for nine form their 20 overs, Tim Ravenscroft top scoring with 39, before Jersey knocked off the runs in 14.3 overs.

'It was a disappointing end but a really positive tournament overall for us,' said Guernsey captain Jamie Nussbaumer.

The result meant that Guernsey finished the tournament in fourth place with three wins from their five games while Jersey were crowned champions on net run-rate after Denmark beat Italy at Grainville. The Caesareans will now play in the ICC World T20 Global Qualifier in July.
