Harte beats Griggs to reach last eight
THE seeds continue to tumble at L'Ancresse in a remarkable Intertrust Island Men's Championship.
There has been a shock a night since the top eight players in the field have entered the draw and yesterday it was Daniel Griggs who fell by the wayside as Andy Harte booked his place in the quarter-finals at the Guernsey player's expense.
The L'Ancresse member had to withstand a back-nine fightback from Griggs, too, before defeating his classy opponent on the first extra hole.
