Eggo wins 11th Island Golf Championship title
BOBBY EGGO clinched his 11th Island Championship in style this afternoon, sealing victory over Danny Blondel with an eagle.

The knock-out blow was struck with a four iron on the par four 15th holes at L'Ancresse - the 33rd hole of the Intertrust Island Men's Championship final - which Eggo holed from 170 yards uphill and into the wind.
That sealed a 4 & 3 victory after the former Walker Cup player had gone into lunch with a slender 1 up lead following the morning round.
