Eggo and Ponte claim CI titles
THE master and his protege both reign supreme in the Channel Islands once again.

Guernsey champions Bobby Eggo and Aimee Ponte both converted their domestic titles into CI Championship crowns yesterday at La Moye with 6 and 4 victories over Alex Guelpa and Jenny Deeley respectively.
It was not all doom and gloom for the host Island's golfers, though, as Royal Jersey's Jonny Anderson won the under-18 title 8 and 7 against Trystan Perkins and Les Mielles's Hilary Nicholson claimed the 18-hole women's bronze division title by defeating Helen Kelso 4 and 3.
