A LATE equaliser from man-of-the-match Craig Young earned Guernsey FC a deserved Ryman South point at Hythe Town last night.

Trailing through a Rene Rivera strike within the opening minute, the Green Lions had piled the pressure on against 10-man Hythe – hindered by the sending off of Scott Punton – without reward.
But then the superb Young slid home a Jacques Isabelle cross in the 88th minute to ensure GFC remain 13th in the league table and on seven points, just three back from the play-off spots in the early weeks.
'We deserved a point tonight and if we can take a point from each midweek away game like this, then it will stand us in good stead,' said GFC coach Steve Sharman.
