Watson to face Davis at US Open
HEATHER WATSON has been drawn against Lauren Davis in the first round of the US Open, which starts on Monday.

The British No. 1 from Guernsey, who is currently ranked 61st in the world, is 23 places above the American, who is two years younger than Watson, on the WTA list. The pair have not played each other before.
The winner will face either 13th seed Ekaterina Makarova from Russia or Teliana Pereira (WR53) from Brazil in the second round.
