At the heart of the project will be a two-tier 14-bay floodlit driving range encompassing the latest golfing technology and computerised on-screen ball tracking on every bay, a modern clubhouse, a pirate-themed adventure golf layout for youngsters and an upgraded main course.
'The big focus for us is to change the perception of golf and bring more people into the sport,' said Matt Groves, who heads up the project with fellow coach Phil Sykes.
'We want it to become the hub for people to learn the game,' added Groves.
