Guernsey Raiders 24, Wimbledon 28

JORDAN REYNOLDS was in no mood to mince his words after Saturday's defeat.

'They were just pathetic in that second half,' was his immediate reaction to the performance of his Guernsey Raiders against a Wimbledon side who grew in confidence as the match progressed and deservedly left Footes Lane with their first victory in National Three London & South-East.

The home side had led 19-11 with less than half-an-hour remaining, but they were incapable of putting together a move of any significance from that point until it was too late and that left their director of rugby seething.

'We were extremely lucky to get two bonus points out of it. We did not deserve anything out of that game,' Reynolds said.

Raiders got their four-try bonus point thanks to scores from Dom Rice, Luke Sayer and Glen Walters as well as a penalty try.
