A FINAL quarter they will want to forget in a hurry saw Guernsey Panthers suffer a third Division Three South defeat in four at Beau Sejour yesterday.

Trailing 24-22 heading into the concluding 15 minutes, Panthers would still have believed they could secure a comeback victory.
Their performance for the most part had been pretty good but with wayward shooting costing them, only for their game to go totally in that final period.
Effectively losing it 14-3 gifted a big victory to Clan, whose young side had arrived in the island only 45 minutes before the start due to flight delays.
