Leading the way was Todd Priaulx in the men's singles competition as he moved into the third position behind Wales and Scotland in his group, after an outstanding double win yesterday, firstly beating Joseph Njagi from Kenya 21-10 and then Jan Dolieslager from the Netherlands 21-12.

Priaulx has drawn the bye today and next plays Cyprus and Argentina on Thursday.

The four of Don Ogier, Keith de la Mare, Matt Solway and John Keat beat Jersey's Greg Davis, Scott Ruderham, Cyril Renouf and Gus Hodgetts 22-18 and remain at the top of their group with three wins.

Scotland are second and Wales are third, both with two wins.

Lucy Beere had the only loss for the day for Guernsey, going down 21-10 to Lorna Smith from Scotland, but the women's four Jan Lawrence, Lyn Small, Jackie Nicolle and Gwen de la Mare had another notable win, this time over Ireland's Erin Smith, Bernie O'Neill, Mandy Cunningham and Sandra Bailie, 17-11.
