Resolution IT Green 52, Nerine Blaze A 32

AN EXCELLENT display kept Resolution IT Green's title charge on track last night – and all but ended the hopes of the reigning champions.

Their sole defeat to unbeaten Titans A aside, this has been a good season thus far for 'Rezzers' and they demonstrated their credentials again against Nerine Blaze A.

Nena Copperwaite's young side are still hanging on in the title race, but with three defeats now to their name, this is looking increasingly like being a Rezzers v. Titans shoot-out.

Rezzers WA Anna Trump was pleased as she reflected on her side's performance.

'It was a well-contested game throughout and they didn't make it easy for us, but I did think the final scoreline was fair and reflected how well we played tonight,' she said.

'We had a couple of players missing tonight but what we are really pleased with is the versatility of our squad at the moment.

'It is looking more and more like a two-horse title race and we know we have to beat Titans next time, but if we play like we did tonight in that game, we will have a good chance.'
