Skillen strikes to put Rec in Stranger Cup final

VALE REC won their second Grand Fort Road derby in the space of five days on Tuesday night to book their place in the Stranger Cup final.

Seb Skillen curled an excellent finish into the top corner in the 58th minute to seal a 1-0 victory at the Track and condemn North to a third defeat within the space of the week, following their Priaulx League loss to Rec and their shock Jeremie Cup quarter-final exit at St Martin's.

Rec will now face either Sylvans or Rovers in the final, with the second semi-final taking place at Northfield tonight, 7.30pm kick off.
