Griffins secure second successive big win to take early title initiative

TWO rounds of matches into the Odey Premiership and Griffins are already the team to catch.

For the second time in the early stages of this campaign, Tom Kirk's side showed why they are many people's title favourites with an accomplished performance to brush aside a largely inexperienced Optimists XI by 75 runs at the KGV.

At Port Soif, champions Cobo registered their first win as they beat St Pierre Rovers by eight wickets.
