KAY MAPLEY crushed an out of sorts Mandy Webber 11 and 10, while Trystan Perkins lifted the island junior matchplay title for the first time in contrasting clashes at L'Ancresse yesterday.

While Mapley was easing to victory and her sixth title and first in 11 years, defending junior champion Perkins had to withstand a fine comeback from Isaac Bate before claiming the title on the 35th hole.

The women's bronze division honours went to Clare Tee, who beat Wilma Nicolle 4 and 3.

All three winners will now meet the Jersey champions at L'Ancresse on 19 June.
