The local duo only started racing in the sidecar discipline on the sand at Vazon last year, but have travelled away to the UK this year to compete in a couple of grasstrack events.
After showing progress in various races, including in Worcester, the pair turned in their best performance yet in the Cornish town of Roche.
Blondel said , who only took up sidecar racing last year, recalls the event and explains how finishing third overall has outdone even his own expectations.
'To be honest, coming into this year I wasn't really expecting even to make it into an A final – although that was the aim – let alone finishing on the podium,' he said.
