Pereira's double sends holders North crashing out

PARIS PEREIRA came back to haunt former club North as a fine double booked Vale Rec's spot in this weekend's Rawlinson Cup final showdown.

While it was holders North who dominated the vast majority of the second half, there own inadequacy in front of goal – including a missed penalty – cost them dearly.

Two disallowed Chris Le Cheminant strikes and a fine late stop from Fergus Moriarty also clocked up on a frustrating night for North, but a fantastic one for Rec as they won 2-0 with Pereira scoring in each half to book a place in Saturday's final against Sylvans.
