Patched up Raiders succumb to Saxons

RAIDERS suffered their second straight loss and third of the season on a bad day for Jordan Reynolds' side at National Three London & South East new boys Southend Saxons on Saturday.

Missing a raft of players due to injuries or work commitments, Raiders were guilty of some poor tackling at times.

In attack, they knocked-on at vital times, but to their credit they kept going until the end on a hard pitch with the sun blazing through the autumn-tinted leaves, but were beaten 34-12.
