GUERNSEY RAIDERS are well on track to achieve their goal of improving on last season's top six placing in National Three London and South East.

But as far as winning the title or landing promotion goes, director of rugby Jordan Reynolds knows that they cannot afford to make many more slips, the likes of which cost them points and lost ground at Southend Saxons last week.

It was a patchwork side that travelled six days ago, but for their second straight massive home test – last time it was table-toppers Hertford at Footes Lane and tomorrow it is second-placed Tonbridge Juddian – Reynolds welcomes back most of his big guns. Given the opposition, he knows they need them too.

'It's a big game and we want to stay in that top section,' said Reynolds as he confirmed returns for Luke Jones, Ned Brown and Matt Thomas.

'Our goal for the year was to crack the top six again and go one one better and get in that top five.'
